Meet Julie and Shelley

Julie Wiebe, PT has over twenty years of clinical experience in both Sports Medicine and Women’s Health. Following her passion to revolutionize the way women recover from pregnancy and return to high levels of fitness, she has pioneered an integrative approach to promote women’s health in and through fitness.

Shelley Mannell, PT has more than 25 years of experience treating babies, children and adolescents with physical challenges and gross motor delays. Shelley has been a registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario since graduating from McMaster University. She is a member of the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (C/NDT) and is a regular contributor to various newsletters and online forums.

Julie Wiebe
PT, DPT Clinician/Educator

Julie W. Wiebe, PT, DPT (she/her) has over 28 years of clinical experience in Sports Medicine and Pelvic Health, specializing in abdominopelvic, pregnancy, postpartum, and performance health for fit and athletic populations. Utilizing a systems-thinking model to optimize pelvic health integratively, her external, movement-based strategies have been successfully incorporated into a variety of populations by medical, rehab, and fitness professionals (ortho/sports, pelvic health, neurology, and pediatrics). Dr. Wiebe is a dedicated educator and sought-after speaker, delivering evidenced-based professional development lectures, curriculum, and coursework at clinics, academic institutions, residencies, and conferences internationally.


Shelley Mannell
PT, BSc , BHSc

Shelley Mannell PT, BSc, BHSc is a knowledge seeker, problem solver and international speaker on a mission to bring relevant research into compassionate practice. As a Physiotherapist, Shelley helps children connect to their own bodies and raise their awareness of movement. She has been supporting children and families on their journey towards independence for over 35 years. Shelley’s enthusiasm for research and education began as a clinical faculty member at McMaster University. She has shared her knowledge and experience with clinicians worldwide, focusing on a dynamic systems model of postural control.
